
| Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) was the largest and most influential radical student organization of the 1960s; soon polite protest turned into stronger and more determined resistance as rage and frustration that took over buildings all across the nation. This was Norm Coleman's triumph, as hippie leader of Students for a Democratic Society on the East Coast he led the campus-wide strike that shut down the whole Hofstra University. Norm Coleman himself lead the take over of the Student Center and the Main Administration Building at his Hofstra University. Norm Coleman with his megaphone in hand lead and directed the taking over the Student Center and the Main Administration Building not caring that then and today this was a federal crime. |
