Sen. Klobuchar after presented with facts about America’s crimes against humanity under President George W. Bush; was asked to stop torture at the top: Very sadly after the group, an amalgamation of many Twin Cities Peace Groups, delivered a plea for Senator Klobuchar as a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, intervene with the Dept of Justice to pursue and prosecute the crimes of torture; Sen. The people Amy Klobuchar sent to prison were mostly poor first time offenders who were non-violent offenders mostly from your minority communities.

If you come from a minority community especially Black or Hispanic How?? could you ever think of voting for Amy Klobuchar again!

She fooled you the first time, and you forgot who Hennepin Prosecutor Klobuchar was and that she had who doubled the Minnesota Prison population with non-violent offenders mostly poor Blacks & Hispanics from your communities.

The most unjust and saddest thing under Amy Klobuchar years as Hennepin County Prosecutor with her 90%+ conviction rate, where most white non-violent drug offenders got treatment (but it is unclear how-rich attorneys make deals- we all know it) while almost all non violent Black, Hispanic and other Minorities offenders who could not afford a expensive attorney but were stuck with a Hennepin County Defender who most of the time because of the massive case load (not their fault) did not even know their names let a lone their cases of these poor minorities maybe offenders; so they were very poorly defending and Amy got a 90%+ conviction rate! Is that justice?

Amy Klobuchar was happy the more people she convicted and sent to prison the higher her percents were (they were not people to Amy Klobuchar they were only numbers.)

Amy Klobuchar did not care that once labelled as felons; these minorities offenders could never get a good job again or ever find a real place in our community after prison because Amy Klobuchar never worked to help them with trying to create re-entry program or job training programs as alternate forms of help rather all Hennepin County Prosecutors could think of was punishment.

The saddest things was even thought during Amy Klobuchar’s time a head Hennepin County Prosecuting Attorney the Minnesota Prison Population doubled while the Minneapolis crime rate skyrocketed in her last year Amy Klobuchar was Hennepin country Prosecutor.  

All Amy Klobuchar gave these minority ex-offenders is no future!

Don’t re-elect Sen. Klobuchar, she was as prosecuting attorney on an incarceration binge.

Making Minnesota prison population the nations fastest growing (by the end of 2004) and with the nation’s highest rates of disparity between its black and white inhabitants almost (13 to 1); A person like Sen. Klobuchar exacerbates racial and ethnic inequality, and wreaks widespread destabilization on minority families, and deepens minority poverty.

A person who thinks like Sen. Klobuchar and I repeat (Sen. She for sure doesn’t listen to those who sent her to Washington to bring our troops home from Iraq and on her first vote; she voted with President George W. Bush giving him another 6 month blank check to even increase troop’s levels in Iraq. That’s not the kind working across both sides of the Isle Minnesotans want! Senator Klobuchar  never voted in 5 years to bring our troops home from the Iraq or Afghanistan Wars. How much American blood  does she have on her hands??

Justice in Amy's court was only for the rich. The numbers prove that Amy Klobuchar left Minnesota with 68% of Minnesota’s prison and jail inmates as poor members of racial or ethnic minorities. (Mostly Black and Hispanic)! 

This only bankrupted Minnesota's economy (Minnesota can not afford to pay between $30,000 to $50,000 for each offender, while other states use work programs and treatment Amy's Minnesota program is you just lock them up (mostly minorities and throw away the key) this destroyed the inner families and her last year as Hennepin County Prosecutor the Crime Rate even dramatically increased in Minneapolis under Amy Klobuchar’s watch.

Amy’s doubling the Minnesota Prison Population did not low the crime rate in Minneapolis. Amy Klobuchar did not work for treatment programs or re-entry program as Hennepin County Prosecutor or as Sen. Klobuchar in Congress for the last 5 years!! Why???

I repeat we sent her to Washington to bring our troops home from Iraq and on her first vote about Iraqi she crosses the isle (not why we elected her) and votes to support President George W. Bush's ability to increase the number of troops and increase the spending on the Iraqi War.

Sad news Klobuchar! & very sad News for Minnesota. Why did Sen. Klobuchar get $92,000 in donations from Dorsey-Whitney? Sen. Klobuchar gets money and supports big law firms that over charge the State of Minnesota with high hourly rates as Attorney General Lori Swanson said.

This is just another very questionable donation that Sen. Klobuchar took from big lobbies to work for them, not the average Minnesotan or in the best interest of the State of Minnesota as the Attorney General clearly stated. Sen. Klobuchar should give as much attention to Minnesota as she gives to the Lobbies like Dorsey-Whitney! The protesters demanded Senator Klobuchar vote against a supplemental funding bill for the war in Afghanistan. The funding bill that the U.S. Congress will be considering asks for an additional $33 billion for the war.

The April 13 peace action Klobuchar’s office is the second in a series of activities by a coalition of peace and anti-war groups to oppose the additional funding for the war in Afghanistan.

The war funding votes Congress will be coming just as the U.S. military is preparing a major offensive against Kandahar, Afghanistan. News reports have indicated that an attack on Kandahar could come in June.

“The dollars in the supplemental funding bill will help finance the projected attack on Kandahar, which will be yet another bloody escalation of the war in Afghanistan,” said a statement issued by organizers.

“It is imperative that we speak out at this time against the escalation of the war in Afghanistan and further assaults on Afghan cities and towns, which can only result in more bloodshed, misery and death for U.S. soldiers and the people of Afghanistan, one of the poorest nations in the world,” the statement concludes.

The events are sponsored by the Minnesota Peaceable Assembly Campaign Committee, which includes members of several Minnesota peace, religious, student and other organizations.

Jack "Doc" Shepard DFL U.S. Senate Candidate says “Bring our troops Home” and I am running to also "Bring Sen. Klobuchar Home" because she does not follow the wishes of  the people of Minnesota who elected her!
